The GEM Lab invites you to a symposium titled, “Porn in Context: Social Media, Platforms, Communities.” From tagging online content NSFW, to exploring platform capitalism through online sex work, to cultivating an intellectual community in the face of student burnout, this symposium explores various sites of “affective intensities” where pornography and attention economies collide.
