Vladimir Chindea

Vladimir Chindea is a Romanian-Canadian filmmaker currently completing the MFA in Cinematic Arts at Concordia University. 

His work explores the convergence of phenomenological inquiry and the creation of moving images as well as themes related to migration and memory. His first short documentary, Hommes-relais (2025), was commissioned by the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival as part of the Citizen Minutes Series - Season 3. Vladimir also directed/produced the short narrative film, Remember (2022), and served as first assistant director on The Madman (2025), amongst others. 

He holds a BA in Philosophy and International Relations from the University of British Columbia.
