Teagan Lance is an MFA graduate from Concordia, during her studies she first started working with the GEM Lab. She went on to do the tangible work of managing the lab space, provisioning it’s equipment, handling installations and holding workshops to make the equipment accessible to the members of the lab. Her film practice centers on hybrid documentary formal methods with a focus on Trans and Queer stories and representation in film, her thesis film features these topics, titled “Beautiful Alchemy”.
She continues to be the main technician at the lab, as well as coordinating and facilitating events, managing elements of the website design and advertising for lab events.
