Marco Meneghin is a PhD student in Film and Moving Image Studies at Concordia University, Montréal. His current research interrogates issues of imperfection and popularisation through music of audio-visual media produced in post-revolutionary Cuba. His other interests are the repurposing of photography and film within indigenous epistemologies in Latin America and the Pacific, cinema and architecture, and issues of participatory media production.
He co-leads the Cinema in the Midst of Struggle screening series (2019-2020).
